COMPANY HISTORY
KDL PRECISION MOLDING CORP., a high quality producer of custom molded Silicone Rubber Products, was incorporated on January 1, 1989 by Lee Brown and David Wyckoff. The two owners combine more than 70 years of rubber molding experience and take pride in establishing a customer service organization with integrity that meets customers requirements. Ben Bensal was welcomed aboard as part owner in 2004 and together, have established a strong customer satisfaction organization that has attained Quality Standards Certification based on the requirements of ISO-9001:2008 with compliance to AS-9100 Aerospace and TS-16949 Automotive Standards.
In the years since KDL started, we have grown from a small job-shop producer of low volume custom rubber products for the aerospace and electronics industries into a multifaceted production molding facility with particular emphasis on Liquid Silicone Injection Molding. Our services also include the Compression and Transfer molding of high performance elastomers such as Silicone, Viton™, and Fluorosilicone, Nitrile, Neoprene, and Ethylene Propylene. We manufacture production quantities ranging from small proto-type runs to production in the millions.
To meet the stringent quality requirements of the Medical, Aerospace & Food Grade Products industries, KDL made several major business decisions. In 1995, a certified Class 10,000 Clean-room was built for the sole purpose of producing and assembling rubber products in a clean room environment for some of the leading medical companies in the world such as Baxter Healthcare, Becton Dickenson, and others.
